SAFETY SENSORS
Our autonomous vehicles offer enhanced safety, using not only laser scanners, but also integrated safety sensors in the bumpers, and some models also have radars, lidars or sonars for recognising other obstacles in their surroundings. Our autonomous vehicles meet the required safety standards EN 3691-4, EN 12100, EN 13849-1, EN 13850 and EN 13855AGV and come with CE and TÜV certification.
SPACE MONITORING
The main function when driving an AGV/AMR in automatic autonomous mode is the monitoring of the area around the AGV/AMR and especially in the direction of travel of the vehicle. This is ensured by laser safety scanners, which are set for each user according to the current environment, and automatically switch depending on where the autonomous vehicle is located.
Two warning zones and one safety zone are set to stop the AGV/AMR. The vehicles are equipped with two or four such safety scanners, depending on the type of application, to eliminate the possibility of blind spots as much as possible. They are classified as safety category SIL 2-SIL CL2/PL d - Cat.3 and are in accordance with all ČSN standards.
RELIABLE AND TIMELY STOPPING
Safety sensors and vehicle bumpers prevent possible personal injury, property damage or other collisions. These are mechanical bumpers directly connected to safety circuits and connected to a safety processor, which ensures reliable and timely stopping of the autonomous vehicle with guaranteed time delays. These bumpers complement the emergency stop buttons, which perform the same function. The control of correct and reliable stopping is supplemented by a speed control system, which is directly mechanically connected to the travel drives and the safety circuit of the processor.
SOUND AND LIGHT ALARM
RGB LED strips are used to signal the different modes of the AGV/AMR, which are located on the corners of the AGV/AMR. The status of the AGV/AMR is indicated by coloured lighting or flashing. Each mode is assigned a certain priority so that the status of the vehicle can be visually recognised in any situation.
By default, the sound signalling is again adapted to the given mode and changes dynamically for each status. Individual sound alerts in MP3 format can be selected for each customer according to their preferences.
